"A lovely oasis. Beautiful use of colour and space to create a wonderful garden." "A gorgeous garden. Love the colour and texture." "Nice to see a garden with a heart." "My idea of heaven." "Magic and mysterious and romantic" "Inspirational."

"The most delightful Open Garden in Malmsbury today organized by @gardendesign_fest ‘Melrose’ is a circa 1860’s bluestone cottage which was derelict when purchased in 2005.  It is now surrounded by the most gorgeous cottage garden including a rose arbour, a chicken pen, and a veggie garden.  There is even a swimming pool and fish pond.  It is definitely my favourite type of garden so I was in heaven. Wish you could smell those beautiful roses."  [Instagram]

“Thanks again for allowing us to visit your amazing garden.  Although not the best time of year in some respects, we thought it was one of the best we have visited. That's really saying something because we have been to many over the years. The way you have used the space, the plants you have chosen, the use of rocks and other materials to create different levels just made it something really special.”

“..note in appreciation of and thanks for the warm welcome to your exceptional garden. Having seen many gardens during my 15 years membership with GR&GG I found your garden probably the most interesting yet.”
